Objectives
   
 
1 To raise an awareness on the illness and means of prevention and management of renal diseases
2 To raise awareness of renal impairment and assist in providing means of preventing and/or the management of the disease
3 To pay particular attention to provision of support/assistance to people in disadvantaged circumstances such as the less privileged in the society.
4 To organize retreats to counsel and educate sufferers of renal diseases.
5 To actively participate in counseling sufferers of the disease and care for such persons affected regardless of their financial capabilities.
   
6 To support all government and international efforts and to encourage such efforts, in caring for the sufferers of renal diseases within the Nigerian society.
 
7 To organize awareness campaigns and to raise funds from amongst the general public from within and outside Nigeria for issues concerning contemporary problems, challenges and the treatment of renal diseases.
8 To provide support for kidney patients in need of dialysis, transplantation, and post transplant drugs.
9 To establish training programs for physicians, nurses, surgeons, technicians, social workers, and coordinators involved in management of kidney patients.
10 To support research efforts by way of grants to scientists and clinicians
11 To initiate sustainable prevention programs in collaboration with primary healthcare institutions and other kidney centers.
12 To collaborate with other interested parties in setting up a national database on kidney disease and renal transplantation.
